MEET JANE

Hi, I’m Jane, the Organiser and Owner at Sort This.

For me, helping others become organised is more than just a profession; it’s my passion. Everybody has that one thing they do to help them feel centred and for me, it’s organising.

After completing university and pursuing a career in law, I found myself unfulfilled and uninspired. Your work fills a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you love and love what you do. So in 2012, I founded Sort This and since then I have helped hundreds of individuals reclaim their homes, simplify their lives and become more organised.

The people I get to meet through my work at Sort This are more than just my clients. Behind every space is a person; A person who has a story, dreams, ambitions, desires and a life to be lived to the fullest. Sort This is all about inspiring you to reach your potential by helping you rid your life of excess.

The Inside Scoop!

Growing up in a small country town in Northern NSW, I was raised the old fashioned way by a long line of industrious “collectors”. I was taught early on that nobody ever died from hard work. I am living proof that you can take the girl out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the girl.

I believe you learn something from everything you do and that real life experiences are more valuable than anything you can buy from a shop or read in a book.

I’m an introvert at heart, who needs lots of alone time, but when I’m with someone I like to give them my all.

I live for the simple pleasures in life. My favourite things in this world are kittens, wind, dancing in my lounge room and hitting that electro beat hard, writing, tv binges, travelling the world and then coming home, feeding people, my nieces and nephew, pho and all things organised.

While everyone was telling me I should be pursuing more, my heart was telling me to pursue less. I have finally found a way to do both and the balance is liberating.
